New Dates: April 8-9, 2022.
Thank you for your interest in participating in our Mesas to Monuments Quilt Show, organized by Sunset` Slope Quilters in Grand Junction, Colorado. With more than 175 members, our purpose is to share our quilts through various outreach programs, perpetuate the rich heritage of quilting in America, and promote the art and perfection of the craft. We contribute to our local community by providing quilts as ongoing projects to patients undergoing chemotherapy, quilts to recipients of Habitat for Humanity homes, quilts and fidget mats to VA Medical Center, Christmas stockings to local foster children, as well as responding to victims of fires in Paradise, California, and Australia, and sewing over one thousand fabric masks this year.
Our show will be held at Grand Junction Convention Center (formerly Two Rivers) at 159 Main Street in downtown Grand Junction. Approximately 20,000 recently remodeled square feet will be available for quilt displays and vendor booths. The facility provides ample parking, a loading dock, elevators, and food! Another bonus is four nice hotels within one block plus a cool downtown to explore.
This year, we are offering booths that are divided by black draped panels 10 feet wide by 8 feet tall. Booth space may be rented in multiples of 10×10, and each 10×10 space will have one dressed 8-foot table and two chairs. Additional tables are $10 each, and chairs are free upon request. Wifi is free for credit payment apps. Electricity is available for $25 per day. Give-aways and demonstrations are encouraged.
To advertise the show, we will be distributing save-the-date cards to quilt shops and guilds throughout western Colorado and eastern Utah. Media announcements will include radio, TV and social media. You can help us advertise the show on your social media, and we can supply you with cards to give out at other shows and to your customers. We’d love you to link your social media to ours. Our website is www.sunsetslopequilters.com and our FaceBook page Mesas to Monuments Quilt Show.
We look forward to having you as part of our show in 2022
and into the future. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call, text, or email either of our vendor co-chairs as listed below.
