In 2016, Cathy Boutilier and Lori Rienstra from Mesa County Social Services were presented with 250 Christmas stockings for the foster children program in Mesa County.
Each month patterns and instructions will be available. New kits are available beginning in January. June and Paula put together kits which include fabric, pattern, and some trim. Then our members volunteer to assemble the kits to make wonderful Christmas Stockings as our gift to the foster children program each year.
Assembly of the stockings can be done in one afternoon. Be sure to give June and Paula a helping hand and pickup your kit at the next general meeting. You could visit your “Stash” and create your own design. (June and Paula have a great pattern.) With your help, we can meet our goal and make lots of foster children happy at Christmas time.
Thank you to everyone for your help.
